Science at Play

Your group’s task is to research your inquiry question and present your key findings to the class through a PowerPoint photo-essay, in order to showcase how science is involved in fun, everyday activities. 

Your group will follow the 8 steps of the LEAD21 Inquiry Process, which are provided in greater detail on the process page.

1. Generate an inquiry question and record on the inquiry packet
2. Make a conjecture and record on the inquiry packet
3. Collect Information and take notes on investigation sheets
4. Organize and synthesize information using graphic organizers
5. Confirm or revise the conjecture and record on the inquiry packet
6. Develop a photo essay, using Microsoft PowerPoint
7. Deliver an oral presentation, sharing your photo essay with the class
8. Reflect on the process and complete the process rubric and collaboration rubric
